Thank you for enrolling in Custom Field command! Here are a few things you should know about the course:

Course Progression

While we don’t force you you go through the course in a specific order, it is encouraged, even if you have some background in WordPress development.

When you have completed a lesson, be sure to click the green “Mark Complete” button in the top right corner so you can keep track of your progress and pick up where you left off.

Completed lessons are indicated with a check icon.

Stepped Solutions

In lessons in which coding is required, we provide “stepped solutions” in a private GitLab repository so if you run into problems, you can compare your project code with the stepped solution and see what is different.

It is broken down by lesson, like so:

And inside the lesson’s folder, it only contains the changed files:

To request access to the private GitLab repository, please email [email protected] with your GitLab username or email address.

Asking for Help

Please do not hesitate to ask for help if you’re feeling stuck.

Inside a lesson, click the “Need Help?” tab that will provide the lesson ID number.

That same tab may include frequently asked questions specific to the lesson.

Themetry is here to help you get through this course with a solid understanding about how custom fields work in WordPress.
